Pop Out is a woven, multilayer piece of work that explores structure and interlacement. The piece has a sculptural central element, which is created through the interlacement of six layers. It is woven as one piece on a 24 shaft computerised loom due to the complexity of the weave. The warp is silk with a monofilament weft.
